Alison Smith is a botanical artist and surface pattern designer living in the coastal town of Hervey Bay, Queensland. She draws inspiration from the beautiful natural environment around her and from time spent in the garden, at the beach and in the bush.
Alison has painted for as long as she can remember. Previously she worked as an arts teacher but always wanted to have her own practice.
A few years ago, she discovered surface pattern design and fell in love with the whole process. Alison is so excited by the thought of her artwork becoming a part of everyday life for others.
